Sheep milk is highly nutritious, with higher levels of of vitamins A, B and E as well as essential minerals like calcium, phosphorus and zinc than cows or goat milk. With it also containing less lactose than cows milk, people that suffer with being lactose intolerant find it easier to digest and can usually consumer sheep milk.
Sheep farming is very sustainable especially here on our farm, with good flock health and proper grassland management the need for artificial inputs are minimal. Sheep are well adapted to grazing grass land and other forage crops and here that's what they do. During spring and summer months they graze the lush green grass produce deliciously creamy milk and high end lamb, to the autumn months where they graze a range of forage crops such as forage rape and stubble turnips along with herbal lays. This adds organic fertiliser back into the soil cutting the need for nitrogen in the next crop.
